The state of the art of 3D technology for training surgeons and supporting surgical teams in their operative strategies: this was the leitmotif of the visit of the Regional Health Councillor of Veneto, Manuela Lanzarin, to the Reanatomy headquarters in Castegnero (Vicenza).
Welcomed by the company leaders, Marco Salvadori and Alessandro Meggio, Councillor Lanzarin had the opportunity to meet Professor Alessandro Frigiola, one of the pioneers of modern cardiac surgery, and learn from him about the advantages of using state-of-the-art anatomical simulators to provide young surgeons with the training necessary to perform complex surgeries.
Professor Frigiola is the founder of the Association of Cardiac Children Worldwide and created the Aesculapius project, which promotes the training of cardiac surgeons from all over the world, based at the IRCCS Policlinico San Donato in Milan. Professor Frigiola’s projects are a constant driving force for Reanatomy, pushing us to improve and expand our perspectives in support of the scientific community.
It was an interesting moment of encounter and exchange between science, institutions, and industry, with the aim of opening new frontiers in the preservation of the most valuable asset: health.
